Musician Doug Paisley’s work is informed by the country, folk and roots music south of his Canadian border, and it’s been validated with numerous accolades from The New Yorker, Spin and others for his 2010 album Constant Companions, which features a duet with Feist.
The Toronto native is out now with a new EP, Golden Embers, which also features Feist’s heavenly voice. He joins Eight Forty-Eight Wednesday to talk about his career, his new release, and to perform songs from his repertoire.
Doug Paisley performs tonight at the Hideout in Chicago.
