Filmspotting #500 Live at the Music Box
The podcast that director Rian Johnson (Looper) called "a force for good in the universe" and the A.V. Club dubbed a "podcast institution" is commemorating its 500th episode with a live taping at Chicago's historic Music Box Theatre! Join hosts Adam Kempenaar and Josh Larsen for a celebration of all things film and Filmspotting.

Adam Kempenaar co-founded Filmspotting in March 2005 and is the show's host and executive producer. He has a B.A. in film studies and M.A. in journalism from the University of Iowa, plus a B.A. in English from Grinnell College. Adam is a regular film instructor at theUniversity of Chicago's Graham School, where he has taught or co-taught five classes, including Hawks vs. Curtiz: The Auteur and the Hack, Movies About Movies and Cinema Verite and the Problem of Truth. Josh Larsen joined Filmspotting as co-host in January 2012. Prior to that, he spent 11 years as a film critic for Chicago-based Sun-Times Media.
