A new law that went into effect at the start of 2016 is paving the way for music therapists to be licensed in Illinois. So, what is music therapy? How does it work? And what conditions is it used to treat? Two music therapists join us in studio to discuss their work and play some examples. Jenny Rook is executive director of ITA, the Institute for Therapy Through the Arts and a board-certified music therapist.
