Milos Stehlik Interviews Jason Reitman
Filmmaker Jason Reitman has carved out a niche in comedy that deals with heavy, transitional moments in life. His 2007 film Juno, about an unexpected high school pregnancy, became a cult classic, and 2011’s Young Adult about a 37-year-old divorcee who moved back to her Minnesota hometown earned a dozen award nominations. WBEZ film contributor and director at Facets Chicago, Milos Stehlik, interviews the world’s great filmmakers. Today, he’ll chat with Reitman about his new film Tully about a tired young couple who hires a night-nanny to take care of their infant children at night. Reitman also talks about what it’s like to be the son of another famous filmmaker, Ivan Reitman, of Ghostbusters and Animal House fame.
