Police raid major daily newspaper in Kampala, Uganda

On Tuesday, the Associated Press reported that Ugandan police had disabled the Daily Monitor's printing press after forcibly entering its premises. Police were apparently looking for evidence against army General David Sejusa. The general had raised questions about the president's alleged plan to have his son succeed him in office. Kisuule Magala, a Ugandan journalist and contributor to Ababaka.com, explains what's behind the raid on the Daily Monitor. (Photo: AP Images).
