What Led To Famine In South Sudan?

South Sudan has been engulfed in a brutal civil war since 2013 and last week the UN declared that parts of the country were experiencing famine, with nearly a million people on the brink of starvation.

The  crisis is expected to get much worse by the summer, potentially impacted more than 5 million people. Many young children are particularly vulnerable. 

We talk about how the country got to this point and what the potential solutions are with Brian Adeba, associate director of policy at the Enough Project.
