Angela Rozas O’Toole

Rozas O’Toole previously was deputy metro editor at the Chicago Tribune, where she oversaw politics and criminal justice reporting. She joined the Tribune in 2003, and worked as a general assignment reporter, criminal justice reporter and metro desk editor. She is a previous co-winner of a National Headliners Award for reporting on domestic violence and coordinated with WBEZ on the award-winning “16 Shots” podcast.
She previously was a reporter at The (New Orleans) Times-Picayune, and has a B.A. from Louisiana State University and an M.S. from Columbia University in New York.
Rozas O’Toole lives in Chicago with her husband and children, and enjoys live music and long reads.
