Bea Bosco

Director of Special Projects and Initiatives

Bea delivers project management, strategic planning, and implementation support for key organizational initiatives. At Chicago Public Media, she has worked on projects as varied as a national audio archive, the integration of departmental databases into a new CRM, and began her tenure as Community Producer for Vocalo, responsible for creating a training program for interns, volunteers, and community members.

Before joining Chicago Public Media, Bea was the Associate Director of Education at Chicago Shakespeare Theater and Program Director and Faculty at the Associated Colleges of the Midwest Chicago Arts Program. She has served as adjunct faculty at The Theatre School at DePaul University, Columbia College, Roosevelt University, and Beloit College. She is also a freelance theatre director and serves as a consultant for the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation.

She has a BA in English and Theatre from the University of Notre Dame, and a PhD in Theatre and Drama from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
