7-Eleven will be bringing the Slurpee to more locations in Chicago.

The convenience store chain has acquired Lombard-based White Hen, Incorporated.

There are over 400 White Hen and Seven-Eleven stores around Chicago.

7-Eleven CEO Joe DePinto says the company hopes to learn more about the fresh food business from White Hen.

“I think as time goes on and we get to know get to more about them and more about us, we’re going to do more integration of the two brands,” DePinto says.

DePinto says he has no plans to move White Hen’s headquarters out of Lombard or close any stores.
