The Czech Republic’s Karlovy Vary Film Festival showcases the underappreciated works of Central and Eastern European directors.

The fest also has special meaning for WBEZ film contributor Milos Stehlik; the Czech Republic is his birth country. Milos reviews a few movies that caught his attention, including The White World According to Daliborek, a “tragi-comedy” that follows the trials and tribulations of a racist and neo-Nazi fascist. Milos also discussed the many cultural changes he’s witnessed over the years he’s been to the Karlovy Vary festival.
