The apprenticeship program is a partnership with Divvy, the bikeshare company operated by Lyft.
In an effort to expand bike transit to the South and West sides, the Chicago bike shop Working Bikes partnered with Divvy to train future bike mechanics.
The program pays a weekly stipend and could lead to employment at Divvy.
