About 4 in 10 Hispanics say they have serious concerns about their place in America, post-election, according to a survey released by Pew Research Center in February. Former CEO of United Neighborhood Organization, Juan Rangel, is launching an initiative focused on helping Mexican Americans get into more leadership roles, both in the public and private sector. Rangel’s Mexican American Leadership, Policy and Action Committee was inspired, in part says Rangel, by the 2016 election.
