Amtrak is looking to end a train line from Chicago to Indianapolis unless Indiana lawmakers come up with funding. Amtrak’s Hoosier State line travels from Indy to Chicago four times a week. But Amtrak needs $3 million dollars a year to operate it. So far, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb has not made funding the train line part of the state’s proposed budget for the next two years.
