It’s less than two months away from Chicago’s mayoral election. Incumbant Rahm Emanuel has several challengers on the February 24 municipal election ballot. Today one of his challengers, Willie Wilson, joins us in studio to discuss his candidacy. Wilson, who hails from Louisiana, came to the Chicagoland area in the mid 1960s and became a self-made millionaire, philanthropist and founder of the nationally syndicated gospel program “Singsation,” among other accomplishments. But during his triumphs he also had some pain. He battled prostate cancer and lost a son to gang violence. Wilson, the CEO of Omar Medical Supplies, joins us in studio.
