Chicago researchers studying whether your diet can prevent dementia

Studies show the MIND diet lowers a person’s risk of developing Alzheimer’s, but researchers wanted to measure its impact on cognition.

A Chicago-based researcher has dedicated her career to understanding the relationship between diet and brain health, and this year her team at Rush University conducted the first clinical trial to find out if the foods you eat can prevent Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Reset speaks with the researcher about what she learned about the MIND diet.
