The city of Chicago is holding hearings this hour to discuss the impact of closing half of its public mental health clinics. The hearings are the first time the topic will be discussed in a public hearing since Mayor Rahm Emanuel closed six clinics throughout the city in 20-12. Advocates have been demanding this since the closures were announced 2 years ago. WBEZ’s Shannon Heffernan brings us the latest.
