Chicagoans demand abortion access, reproductive freedom on nationwide day of action

Hundreds of Chicagoans marched for abortions rights Saturday at several demonstrations across the city.

If Roe v. Wade were to be overturned, abortion will continue to remain legal in Illinois. Plus, starting June 1, people under 18 will not need to have a guardian notified before the abortion. While these protections would stay in place, legal advocates are concerned there will be efforts to make out-of-state abortions illegal.
