The fight to bring back the the No. 11 bus continues Monday with a rally at CTA headquarters. It’s been two years since CTA discontinued the Lincoln Avenue bus and many residents believe it’s been a huge inconvenience, especially for the area’s senior citizens. CTA claimed the bus service was redundant due to the various Brown Line locations and justified the decision as part of their crowd reduction plan. Alderman Ameya Pawar of the 47th Ward has been advocating for the route’s return since it’s elimination and joins us to talk about the rally and campaign. Photo Courtesy of Facebook
