The Chicago Police Department dismissed a racial-profiling complaint filed by U.S. Congressman Bobby Rush as “unfounded.” Rush was pulled over last August because of an error when officers ran the plates on his car, according to police department spokesman Anthony Guglielmi. Rush told the Chicago Tribune the officers had no reason to stop him in the first place. The department found that the officers made the stop in the good-faith belief they had probable cause and otherwise did nothing wrong.
