CPS Could Close 50 More Schools

Enrollment continues to decline at Chicago Public Schools. That news isn’t new. But that declining enrollment may lead to a new round of school closures in 2018, as the five-year moratorium on closings is lifted. 

We look back on the controversial closing of 50 elementary schools back in 2013, and crunch the numbers to find out how the situation has changed, and how things are still the same.
