It would be an understatement to say Chicago is home to a lot of musicians, and a lot of global sounds. But you might be surprised to find one of the Midwest’s most impressive Latin Jazz groups in Champaign-Urbana. The Central Illinois-based Craig Russo Latin Jazz Project recently released its third CD, called In the Middle.
