As President-elect Barack Obama’s inauguration approaches, lots of people are giving him advice about how he might run the country. Some of the suggestions are coming from students at the Chicago International Charter School in the city’s Bucktown neighborhood. Nicole Miano is a teacher at Chicago International Charter School, and a contributor to WBEZ’s West Side Bureau. Some of her second graders shared their letters to Obama.

Letters came from Kelly Martinez, Tyler Jones, Arianna Johnson, Anthony Herrera, Jaree Allen, and Kimberly Ortiz.
