Over the weekend, the Washington Post reported that Russia intervened in the 2016 election with the aim of helping elect Donald Trump, according to unnamed officials briefed about a CIA report on the matter. Mr. Trump responded by casting doubt on those findings in a conversation with Fox News' journalist Chris Wallace and also via Twitter.

Mr. Trump also told Wallace that he has declined the daily intelligence briefing typically received by presidents, making it more of a weekly one.
We talk about the row between Trump and the U.S. intelligence community with David M. Barrett, professor of political science at Villanova University.
