Yesterday, the state Senate passed a bill to boost the minimum wage to $11.00 by 2019. But the House adjourned, so no wage hike. So, does that mean Madigan flip-flopped on his call for a statewide minimum wage boost, and that’s he’s the one to blame? Well, not so fast. Greg Hinz of Crain’s Chicago Business says Mayor Rahm Emanuel played an even more important part in stopping the state’s minimum wage hike. He joins us on the line with more.
