Cooler temps and early darkness indicate the arrival of fall, but there’s another way to mark the change of seasons. This week is the start of the Fall TV season, when shows return from summer re-runs, and new series take a stab at grabbing habitual weekly viewers. It’s an interesting time for networks-and for watchers. More and more people are no longer confined to the couch for appointment viewing as DVRs, online streaming and social media allow us to experience a show whenever and wherever we want.
