Film by one of China’s biggest directors won’t be shown inside China
A Touch of Sin, the latest film from Chinese director Jia Zhangke, will not be shown in China. The film takes on a host of social issues and has won critical acclaim at several international film festivals. Wen Huang, author of The Little Red Guard and A Death in the Lucky Holiday Hotel: Murder, Money and an Epic Power Struggle in China and film contributor Milos Stehlik join us to talk about the movie, censorship, and film in China.
