Food insecurity rates in U.S. remain above pre-pandemic levels

Food insecurity rates in U.S. remain above pre-pandemic levels

While food insecurity rates across the country have come down from their peak during the pandemic, they’re still above pre-pandemic levels. In Cook County, more than half a million people live in households that don’t have reliable access to food every day.

Reset checks in with a local food bank for how they’re meeting current needs in the greater Chicago area.
