This fall, WBEZ education reporters are checking in with students and educators to see how they’re adjusting back to in-person learning as the pandemic continues.

In our first conversation, Susie An talks to Greg Johnson, the district superintendent of Oak Park and River Forest High School in the western suburbs.

The school was mostly virtual last year, and now they’re back in person full time. Susie asked Johnson what it’s been like going back to the classroom, how the early days have gone and how they’re spending federal COVID-19 relief dollars.
