Global Activism: Right To Be Free Update

Rescue 2016

One of the many children rescued by Right to Be Free this year.

In 2014, Worldview first met Global Activist, Lori Dillon. She told us how she started a local branch of the NGO, Right To Be Free. Her efforts were in support of her friend, Ghanaian Eric Peasah ,“who has dedicated his life to the rescue and rehabilitation of trafficked children.”

Peasah rescues child slaves who were trafficked into Ghana’s fishing industry. Now he regularly visits Chicago to spread awareness and educate schoolchildren about some of Ghana’s enslaved children.

For our 'Global Activism' segment, they update us on some of the children they’ve saved from bondage and an anti-human trafficking symposium Peasah organized.
