Do you know a Chicago kid who loves Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me! and wants to be a contestant? Well, here’s their chance!

For the first time in Wait Wait’s history, we’re putting on a special live show where all the contestants are kids. We’re calling it Wait Wait … Junior! and it’ll happen live at Chicago’s Athenaeum Theatre on the afternoon of March 31.

Now, here’s where things get fun. We’re looking for excited, Chicago area kids (ages 9 to 16) to play a game live on stage. If they’re chosen to play, they’ll receive free tickets to the show. (Kids: You have to give at least one of those tickets to your parent or legal guardian).

To enter, kids can call 1-800-329-4260 and give us a brief explanation of why they want to play. Of course, we’ll also need their name, age and where they live. Parent or guardian, listen in on junior’s call and let us know at some point that you’re cool with them joining us!

If selected, each child contestant will need a parent or legal guardian’s written consent and some help filling out a few easy forms. A parent or guardian must accompany junior contestants to the show.

So, kids, grab your adult and call us at 1-800-329-4260 for your chance to play. And don’t forget to look out for more information! Ticket sales are coming soon, so you can invite the whole family.
