Are we not giving bikes enough credit? Sociologist Leszek Sibilski says we are.

According to Sibilski, “many of us underestimate the uniqueness, longevity, and versatility of the bicycle [as] a simple, reliable and clean green player in transportation, environmental stewardship, and health.”

The consultant for the World Bank and United Nations tells us why he believes the bicycle is transforming lives across the globe, especially those of the poor.

Chicago-based development NGO World Bicycle Relief (WBR) is honoring Dr. Leszek with its “Trailblazer Award”. We hear from WBR president, Dave Neiswander.
