Leading up to the 2024 presidential election, WBEZ, the Chicago Sun-Times and the University of Chicago’s Center for Effective Government have teamed up on “The Democracy Solutions Project.” The occasional series examines some of the threats to American democracy and ways we can strengthen our union and our political system.

In this latest installment, Reset explores how to strengthen democracy by improving civic engagement.
