When they pull a ballot for the Illinois primary election on March 20, voters in Cook County will have the opportunity to weigh in on a number of races for judge. Research shows that many voters skip that part of the ballot and that those who do vote for judges are often going off little to no information. Enter Injustice Watch. The criminal and social justice reporting nonprofit has created a guide for voters who want to be informed on judges when they head into the booth. The guide pools information for several bar associations with the group’s own research to offer voters as much useful information as possible so they can make their decision.
