Today we’re talking about the some of the difficulties faced by Iraq refugees.

As we’ve heard, most Iraqis who have fled their country remain in the Middle East region. Jordan alone has taken in 700,000 Iraqis–100 times the number that the U.S. has promised to accept this year.

Kathy Kelly is the co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Nonviolence. She recently returned from two months in Amman, Jordan, where she with Iraqis who’ve fled the country.
