Community groups on Chicago’s South Side continue to press the City of Chicago and the Obama Foundation for more details about the presidential center planned for Jackson Park. Their questions include land use, road access, and benefits to surrounding communities.
They also highlight construction plans they say are being made without enough community input. The city and Obama foundation have held several forums for public input but the grassroots group, Jackson Park Watch, has been out in front with big questions since.
