Jury Selection Begins For Chicago Man Who Claims He Was Framed By Police

Jury selection began Monday morning in the case of a Chicago man who said cops and prosecutors framed him for a 1992 murder. Deon Patrick’s complaint says police coerced false confessions from him and six others. Some of the others had their cases thrown out at the time, but Patrick spent more than 21 years in prison. He was freed in 2014, when the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office dropped the charges against him.
