Kasich Defends Rauner, Stresses Importance Of Funding Social Services

Presidential hopeful John Kasich is defending a fellow Republican in Illinois - Governor Bruce Rauner. Kasich visited Chicago’s western suburbs Wednesday for a town hall rally.

Kasich said Illinois Democrats need to get along better with Governor Rauner. But then the Ohio governor stressed the importance of programs Ohio’s government funds, like services for adults with developmental disabilities, or those with mental illness - all programs Illinois has not funded while there’s been no state budget.
