Live Results: Illinois Primary Elections 2020

While the global COVID-19 pandemic closed schools, museums and restaurants, Illinois residents went to their polling places on Tuesday.

But voter turnout started slow, and a top Chicago election board official said his agency wanted to postpone Tuesday’s vote because of public health concerns. Gov. JB Prtizker’s chief of staff quickly took to Twitter to call the statement a “lie.”

Polls close at 7 p.m. and you can watch results for key Illinois primary races come in below.
