Today, the Mid West Clean Tech Conference at McCormick Place is honoring innovation in green technology. The Brinks Innovation Competition sponsored by a Chicago-based intellectual property firm aims to help emerging and venture-ready clean tech companies like NextCAT, Inc. in Detroit. NextCAT recently found a way to decrease the costs of bio-diesel energy, a breakthrough that could drastically change the clean fuel economy.
