Flu cases are up in Chicago and around the nation. Experts say the virus is striking earlier in the season than from previous years. That’s taxing local hospitals, forcing many to turn away patients and send less critical cases to other hospitals. Rahul Khare of the Feinberg School of Medicine explains what he’s seeing in the ER.
