Tales of horseplay and horse trading were recently part of the testimony from Alonzo “Lon” Monk in the trial of former governor Rod Blagojevich. Monk is a key witness for the prosecution. But on his third day of testimony yesterday he faced cross-examination from defense attorneys for Rod and Robert Blagojevich.
