Make Music Chicago brings out the musician in everyone

Every year in celebration of the summer solstice, the Fete de la Musique celebrates the opportunity to allow everyone to make music. It’s a chance for musicians from all skill levels to play all genres of music. Here in Chicago, the celebration takes place in parks and public spaces across the city. Make Music Chicago kicks off from Daley Plaza at 10 a.m. with the Rise and Shine Orchestra and ends with a finale concert at 5 p.m. at St. James Cathedral. Kuang-Hao Huang is Make Music Chicago's director. He brings his classical touch to the piano, and shares details about the musical celebration.
