A man sentenced to life in prison for a crime he says he didn’t commit has been released. Adam Gray was picked up by Chicago police when he was 14 years old and forced to confess that he set an apartment on fire, killing two people. On Wednesday, the Illinois Appellate Court dismissed the charges, 24 years later. Gray’s attorneys say investigators used bad science to determine the cause of the fire. Gray is considering whether to file a lawsuit.
