Mayor Lightfoot Says Mask Mandate Lifted For Vaccinated Chicagoans

Chicago residents who are fully vaccinated are encouraged but no longer required to wear masks, including in businesses.

After the CDC issued new guidance last week that vaccinated people don’t need face coverings in most public settings, Gov. JB Pritzker and now Mayor Lori Lightfoot have followed suit. WBEZ’s Mariah Woelfel breaks down the latest on local masking guidelines.
