Medical marijuana sales in Illinois have begun almost two and a half years after the the state’s medical marijuana bill became law. Right now there are only eight dispensaries that will be selling pot, and none are in Chicago. We discuss what can patients expect and how soon will other dispensaries come on line with a member of a group that represents cultivators and dispensaries. And it might not be too long before some of those dispensaries are rated on Yelp, the online review site that you may have used to check out a restaurant before taking the plunge. We explore just how powerful Yelp is and how much restaurants really pay attention to those ratings and comments. And we’ve got another installment of our series My Life in Three Songs.
