Neighborhood Opportunity Applications Due Friday

Businesses on the South and West Sides of Chicago are submitting applications Friday for the city’s Neighborhood Opportunity Grants. There is $2.5 million up for grabs from the Neighborhood Opportunity Fund — which developers have to pay into when they want to build taller downtown buildings than zoning allows. The awards will be announced sometime in early 2018.
