Nerdette Book Club is back to discuss our November selection, Land of Milk and Honey by C Pam Zhang! The novel follows an unnamed protagonist, a chef, who gets a job cooking for the uber-wealthy at a research facility in the Alps. The compound also just so happens to be one of the last places on Earth with fresh food due to devastating ecological collapse. It’s a novel about survival, privilege, and seeking pleasure at the end of the world.
