New Steppenwolf play explores the twists and turns of friendship, fandom and LeBron James’ career

New Steppenwolf play explores the twists and turns of friendship, fandom and LeBron James’ career

Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s new play, “King James,” is a story about an unlikely friendship of two Cleveland sports fans and their shared love of basketball. The fast-paced comedy explores their bond over 12 years of LeBron James’ career, from his rookie season to his return to the Cavaliers.
