“Old Times” Between the Lines Lecture
“Old Times” Between the Lines Lecture
In this Between the Lines event, Remy Bumppo Theater invited Todd Bauer to share his insights into Old Times in a pre-show discussion of the play.
Todd Bauer has taught British and American drama at the Newberry Library for the past ten years. Last year he directed the program Pinter & Perspective, in which he explored the power dynamics in Pinter’s The Birthday Party by casting both disabled and non-disabled actors. He is the visiting artist at Visible Theatre in New York, an opportunity made possible by an NEA Challenge America Grant. He is also a playwright and was a 2008 resident at the Ragdale Foundation. The Biograph Theater recently staged a reading of Bauer’s play Downsizing Camus.
Recorded Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at The Greenhouse Theater.
