In Chicago we're in the midst of what seems like an epidemic of inner-city youth violence with some kids even using their cars as weapons. Is there anything we can do? One former Chicagoan says that we could all re-think what it means to raise a good kid. Harvard University psychologist Richard Weissbourd says modern parents are too focused on trying to make their children happy or encouraging them to conform to a specific ideal. Instead, they should be giving their kids the tools they need to develop their own moral sensibility.
